Rescheduled from April 8th.

The fifth annual ‘Hard Clay Open’ takes place at the legendary Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, New York on Tuesday, May 8. This event kicks off the 2018 Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series Fueled By Sunoco Halmar International North Region. The big-block/small-block Modifieds pay $5,000 to win, $1,000 for 10th and $500 to take the green flag.

Crate 602 Sportsman – under Orange County rules – pay $1,000 to win and $100 to take the green.

Pit Gates Open: 3:30 PM
Drive-In Gates Open: 3:30 PM
Grandstand Gates Open:
 5 PM
Drivers’ Meeting: 6 PM. at pit tower (Modified draw will be held approx. 10 minutes prior)
Hot Laps: Immediately Following Drivers’ Meeting (approximately 6 PM)
Racing: 7:15 PM

Admission: $25 (Adults); $22 (Seniors); and $2 (Kids 12 and under)
Pit Admission:
 $35 (no license required)

Modified Car Entry: $15 (prior to March 21) or $20 (after March 22 through race day)
Crate 602 Sportsman Car Entry: $10 (prior to March 21) or $15 (March 22 through race day) 

Camping: Permitted on Orange County Fairgrounds (no hook-ups)


Big-Block/Small-Block Modifieds – 50 laps*, $5,000 to win, $1,000 for 10th, $500 to start
*All green-flag laps
