I-88 Speedway – Afton, NY – 4/23/16

Starting Position: 7th

Finishing Position: 1st

Summary: After winning another heat race this season, Andy was in the redraw for the feature event starting order.  He redrew the 7th starting position out of 12, and it proved to be a lucky number 7 for the Wild Child.  He made his way to the 2nd position by lap 7, and quickly ran down the leader Mike Mahaney.  Andy was able to put the car up on the top side and power by Mahaney, and never looked back from there.  Andy went on to take the win by a full straightaway margin.  Andy and Mike are now tied for the championship point lead at I-88.
