Orange County Fair Speedway – 10/24 – 10/25/15

Big Block:

Starting Position: 9th

Finishing Position: 5th

Summary:

Andy had a great car all weekend, the Tom Sanford owned #41 car was fast right out of the trailer and proved that on race day as well.  After all the pit stops were done Andy raced his way into the top 3 with 12 laps to go.  A long red flag for a bad accident cooled Andy’s tires and on the ensuing restart it showed, he dropped back to 5th after contact with another car and the tires sealing over.  He hung on for a top 5 finish for the TSR team.

Small Block:

Starting Position: 15th

Finish Position: DNF

Summary: Andy qualified well Saturday at Eastern States with the small block car and was able to win his heat race which gave him the 15th starting position.  He made his way quickly in to the top 10, but as the fuel load burned down the car handling got worse and worse and decided to end his day early.
