Summary – After struggling to qualify for the main event and drawing yet again another poor qualifying heat race starting position, Andy started 29th and quickly started working his way through the pack. By lap 28 he was inside the top 10 and continued to move forward. When the checkers flew he crossed the line in 8th position.
